+ read

To ensure all the time you spend with friends and family is special, Magis has extended its choice of table sizes in the Milà collection designed by Jaime Hayón and inspired by the shapes of Catalan Modernism.

Alongside the round and square tops in various sizes and wide range of materials, a large 240×100 cm rectangular table is now available with natural or black stained oak top, supported like the others by the unmistakable painted steel tube frame in its characteristic, sinuous shape, which lends it an air of simplicity, lightness and elegance.

The Vitrail collection of mirrors composed of strips in different colours, which draws its inspiration from old Venetian mirrors, has won the Wallpaper* Design Awards 2019 in the “Best Shape Shifters” category.

This major prize is awarded annually by the authoritative magazine, Wallpaper* to celebrate the objects, places and people that have distinguished themselves over the previous twelve months. On this occasion it pays tribute to Magis’ quality, and to its recent, creative partnership with designer Inga Sempé.

The other prestigious prize recently won by Magis is the iF DESIGN AWARD 2019, which it received for Brut (design by Konstantin Grcic) in the product/furniture category.

Brut’s unique, powerful design won over the 67 members of the jury, independent experts from all over the world, after an intense competition in which over 6,400 candidates from 50 countries took part.
