Spun continues to be a big hit. This chair, the fruit of Thomas Heatherwick’s creative genius and Magis’ groundbreaking research, represents a new way of conceiving seating and sitting. It explores the concept of static sculpture, transforming it into a fun piece of design. Having been selected to furnish the splendid setting of the Lake Arena surrounding the Tree of Life at Expo 2015,

where visitors are literally vying to use them, Spun chairs can now also be found in another spellbinding location, at the Galleria Campari in Sesto S. Giovanni (Milan), where, alongside the most iconic pieces created by some of the greatest designers of the 20th and 21st centuries (among which also the armchair Magis Proust by Alessandro Mendini), they are part of the “I colori del rosso” (The colours of red) exhibition, running from 17 July to 31 October 2015.
