“”Design as competitive factor for the enterprise””
Festival delle Città Impresa, promoted by Nordesteuropa.it and by Corriere della Sera, will involve some towns – symbols of cultural and entrepreneurial life of Veneto, Trentino and Friuli Venezia Giulia on the theme “”Culture enriches us””, an anticipation of North Eastern Italy candidature as European Capital of Culture 2019.
In Montebelluna and Asolo, the Festival proposes the theme “”Design as competitive factor for the enterprise””.
From April, 22nd to 24th the representatives of the most important design companies of this area, some designers and various representatives of institutions and university will discuss the relationship between design, culture and enterprise and between design, sustainability and communication.
On Friday, 23rd of April Asolo Town Hall will host two different round tables on the relationship between creativity and production: the entrepreneurs will be protagonists of the first round table at 6pm (among them also Eugenio Perazza of Magis) and the designers of the second one at 9pm.
The theme of design as competitive factor for the enterprise will be dealt from two different, but at the same time complementary points of view.
During the Festival Magis will also be protagonist of a special exhibition devoted to contemporary design in the halls of the Asolo Town Museum.
A selection of Magis most significant products from its current collection will be on display near the Roman archeological finds, the paintings of the picture gallery and the sections devoted to Eleonora Duse e Caterina Cornaro.
About ten symbolic objects of contemporary design (from Chair_One to Steelwood Chair, from Chair First to Vanity Chair to cite only some of them) will be side by side to the museum collection to create an original parallel path, made of chairs, low chairs and stools designed by internationally renowned designers.
Moreover, Magis will also be protagonist of the Festival in Vittorio Veneto: the spaces of the Auditorium and of the Atelier at Institute Dante Alighieri (seat of the Festival meetings and events) will be, in fact, furnished with Magis products.
