This the title of the exhibition currently taking place (from October, 9th 2009 to January, 18th, 2010) at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs of Bordeaux . This exhibition – possible thanks to Magis’ and Quattro Benelux’ sponsorship) was associated to EVENTO 2009, an artistic-cultural event of the city of Bordeaux (October, 9th to 18th). In this exhibition Jasper Morrison approaches about thirty of his creations (pieces of furniture, lamps, tableware etc.) to the ancient collections of the museum to find out some commons elements between these so different collections and to confer an aesthetic relevance to the decorative arts of the past. The image chosen by Jasper Morrison for the exhibition poster is therefore really emblematic: it shows, in fact, Pipe Chair designed by Jasper Morrison for Magis by side of an English chair of the XVII century.
